There was some road noise, but definitely not enough for us to not be satisfied and uncomfortable! This is a "biker area" especially during beautiful weekends so we attributed most of the noise to the other guests (whom were super nice to us and our kids & courteous of the times they came in and went out). We stayed in the Longhorn cabin and it was extremely clean and well maintained.
Our experience was outstanding as well. Cabin was beautiful you could literally watch the trout swim by from the wraparound porch. As far as noisy well ya but I've never been in a real cabin that wasn't noisy. They are made out of spruce and pine you know the same stuff they make violins and cellos out of. They conduct sound really well. If you want quiet stay in your home made of drywall.
This was not my experience at all. Peaceful and beautiful. Clean and friendly people.
