Depends on surgery. If a simple surgery maybe, but very invasive with long recovery, I would not. I would ask for lab work and talk about anesthesia recovery on a pet that age. Bishops is great and reasonably priced.
I would trust the doctors at Bishop Animal Hospital over any doctors anywhere. Dr. Bishop and Dr. Newman are the best! Don't hesitate to take your animal there.
My Dog loves Dr. Newman she starts whining an scratching on the door when she hears her voice on the other side. Sasha doesn't care if Dr. Newman gives her shots she still always happy to see her.
