Yellowstone National Park North Entrance - All questions

Address: N Entrance Rd, Gardiner, MT 59030, USA

Geoffrey Bailey | Nov 22, 2020

No. Just get there early since they are doing construction. It costs 35 per vehicle. However If you are planning on going to GTNP or other parks you should spend the 80 on the interagency pass. It's good for a year. You're going to want to stop and grab a picture at the Northern Arch. It's amazing.

Just an addendum to Geoffrey's answer... Get there just before dawn. More wildlife to see, and you'll have a better chance getting parking wherever you plan to visit within the park on that day. The entrance fee is good for 7 days, so keep your receipt in an easy to locate place in your vehicle. Be prepared for elk all over the place in the "town" area before reaching mammoth attraction. If you want more than elk, you need to plan to get to Lamar valley as dawn breaks.
