The river had debris and sludge in it from the flooding, but all of the National Forest trails were closed because of the fire danger. When we were near Rustic,, they were dropping water from helicopters.
It was pretty upsetting, but, ok to drive through. Several houses and roofs still in the river.
I have been there since the flooding and all is fine.
