Is this book store an old sporting goods? Or an old sports authority? A lot of people are talking about a new book store.... I think they said it was this one?

Yes it used to be Sports Authority. It's not just a book store. Also has toys, clothes, etc. Lots of pop culture and fandom items as well as video games, etc.
