Walmart has the #1 highest level of theft. That's why they ask for receipts. I have seen at least 4 people restrained and product confiscated because they attempted to steal it.
Theft is not an issue; they make an insurance profit from theft/loss. The REAL issue is once a purchase is made by an individual, those items are their own possessions, and in the U.S.A. we have a Bill of Rights, and a Constitution. Corporations would be wise to stop trying to impede on such, or find out what happens to Tyrants here. God Bless America!
If people would stop stealing, none of this would be necessary. I've seen people attempt to steal things in the past so I don't blame them. If it's posted or if they state that they'll ask for a receipt there's nothing you can do other than not shop there. It's not a bad policy people need to stop stealing!!! they do the same thing at Costco nobody's complaining there! Different environment different mentality.
I dont understand why this would be a bad policy for a company who has one of the highest theft rates of any store. Costco checks EVERY receipt and they have one of the lowest. Dont take it personally.
