What do u raise money for and is that why it's up on ceiling

My friend took me out for dinner at AJ's, for fried Shrimp,very good, great atmosphere, great service, the restaurant was a Train Station at one time😍😘😗

The previous owner would take the dollar bills off the ceiling every year in conjunction with the Fall Run and donate it to Shriners Hospital. Unfortunately, there was no Fall Run this year. The money on the ceiling will still be donated to Shriners Hospital.
