It used to be a G.C Murphy's 5 & 10 for many years.
Not sure, but it is a super cool place. Great staff and more beers on tap than I've ever seen!

Building was originally a Murphys 5 and dime. It still has that traditional look (although Murphys did not have good beer....oh, or ANY beer!)

Hampden's newest restaurants, gives a nod with its name to the building's past life as a variety store. But that's about the only connection. Inside, It's been transformed into a neighborhood tavern with good food and a fun vibe.

Likely yes. The paint work on the glass ....in the front of the building, is original to the structure.
