If we ride self-contained from Pleasant Hill, is there any place to tent camp before meeting the Katy trail at Windsor? Is Windsor going to make camping spots available?

Chilhowee, 28 miles from Pleasant Hill offers camping. From the bikekatytrail page - April Siegfried: Yes we offer free camping in Chilhowee. You may camp at the city park or camp in the shaded lot across Main St from the park for free. We also have live stock stables in town that you can use as a shelter if there is rain. All of this is free of charge. Stop in at the Corner Store and we will also let you know where you can get water if the store is closed

Windsor has camping. Farrington City Park is the location. They even have showers.

There is no place to Camp between Pleasant Hill Missouri and Windsor Missouri on the Rock Island Trail extension. Windsor city park has a wonderful campsite.
