Troy is definitely more middle of nowhere, so the pricing reflects that. It's not a far drive to wentzville from Troy but if you want to be closer to civilization wentzville is better ;) That said, the super 8 in Troy was really nice and definitely a good value.
Wentzville is just off I-70, while Troy is several miles north, so probably Wentzville will most likely be higher. A phone call to each establishment or checking the web should confirm it.
