There is probably a good chance that if it is a day trip and you are in village, pool, general area of the caves,etc. that it will not be a problem. If you are going to hike, you probably need some Tick Defense and off. Always best to have it just in case. We are finding all sizes of ticks in the area.
Was there for hours did not have any ticks
We were just there for a week and did a lot of hiking and found 2 crawling on our shirts.
Just went a few weeks ago and we did not experience any.
