Yes you can! No alchohol though. Lots of mosquitos in the picnic area we stopped at, but there were plenty throughout the zoo.

Yes you can bring a cooler. We usually do so we don't have to buy food there. We keep it in the car so we don't have to carry it around all day.

Yes you can. We usually bring stuff but leave it in the car so we don't have to lug it around all day. When were ready to eat we go out to the car and eat there or bring it back in to the pinic areas.
