I had one, but it appeared to be affecting the battery. You may have better luck because I had mine installed somewhere else.

Typically not. Most dealers will not install after market parts unless they are OEM direct replacements. Liability for an aftermarket part is the issue and if the manufacturer does not approve or market the part factory dealers are hesitant to perform the install. Try a smaller auto shop
