I see more pit mixes at Warner than the other parks. As long as you pay attention to the body language of the dogs yours plays with, and be prepared to walk away if things get too heated, you should be fine. Hopefully everyone would do that, regardless of breed. There is also a separate small dog area at Warner so if you run into someone concerned about the safety of their dog due to the sheer difference in size and strength, they have somewhere to go, unlike Quann.
It's not the dogs fault it's the owners lack of training. Keep your dog under control and no one has a problem with it
I have a pit mix and I see a lot of them at Warner. Most people seem to be relaxed about high energy and rough play as long as the dogs are having fun.
I'm sorry you've encountered unfriendly people like that. There were pitbulls there when I went. You shouldn't have issues there. Stay strong and hold your head up! And keep loving your puppy!
