I lived here for 7 months with two kids and it was an absolutely great experience! The owner is great, and I felt very safe there.
There IS a playground, it's between the office camper and the dumpster. I've been staying here, because of my job, for a month and brought my 7y/o daughter and my mother down here last week and we all absolutely love it. It is very kid friendly; playground, boating and other watersports with a boat ramp and docks on park property, there's beach on the lake, fishing in the lake as well as a kids only fishing pond, behind the laundry house, etc.
Yes, kids are welcome in the park; however, there are not activities such as a playground.
