I travel weekly, nationwide, in a cargo van. I've slept for a few hours in many walmart parking lots in all different states (when everywhere else close by looked too sketchy)..without any problems. As long as you dont park up by the doors, and your not obvious about it, and dont stay too long, it works. / I see RV's sleeping in the lot of the one closest to my house all the time.

I live 5 mins from here. There is a camper there almost every night. As long as you stay in the far end of the parking lot and not block anything you should be ok
