It depends. You are welcome to walk up and pet (if the animal lets you) and feed some animals (zebras, wildebeest, donkeys, and camels, to name a few). You can also feed some animals ( like several types of monkeys and lemurs) by throwing food into their enclosures. However, if there is a " keeper talk" with an animal you can feed, you will be able to get closer. Becuase of a keeper talk, I got to handfeed some lemurs, for example.
There are also feeding times for the lemurs which is awesome to have them take fruit from your hand!
Hi Rachel! You are able to pet some of the farm animals. Feeding opportunities are available for a large variety of hoofed animals and primates (no petting). You'll have a wild day!
Yes. I like this better than the Knoxville zoo. Small, animals are always close and visible.
The Zebras encourage you to send food down their tubes. It's funny.
