Myself, my daughter and a friend will be in Wilmington North Carolina for vacation August 9th thru the 14th. What will we have to look forward to as we plan to visit here while we are in the area? Also am I allowed to take some other senior photos?

I was at the gardens 2 weeks ago for a family wedding. No one made any attempt to stop us from taking pictures of the scenery & it was beautiful! We were there after hours so i can't really comment on what is available during business hours. I feel sure that you will enjoy your time at the gardens. Have a great trip!

Airlie Gardens will be having their "Gnome Invasion", a collection of gnome sculptures designed by local artists that will be throughout the park. Other suggestions for things in Wilmy: check out the Aboretum, the downtown area where you can walk by the river or take a boat tour of Cape Fear, the aquarium by Fort Fisher (about 45 min/an hour away from Wilmington) of course there are several beaches to visit like Wrightsville and Carolina Beach, and you can check out the Port City Daily and What's up Wilmington websites for info about specific events, concerts, street fairs and more!
