Yes it's a good place. Just bring you some good tent. Stakes and a good hammer. Sites are loaded with gravel. So. A air mattress or cot is a good thing to have.
I have a friend that stays there every year for like 5 months with his camper. I see a few people with Tents. There are some grass areas but mostly gravel so I would recommend some kind of padding as well. But they have a bathroom facility with showers. Its a really nice area to camp at.
