I think it's well worth the trip. If you have kids during certain hours they can visit santa also at the park. And across the river you can check out Krodel Park Campground they have Christmas lights around the campground that you can drive through. The West Virginia farm museum also has lights that you can drive around the farm to check out. All within a short drive from the city park.

That's subjective. They are pretty, but you must decide if it's worth driving an hour to see the sights
