Just took my two year old last week and he had a blast. He's around 33 inches tall, and the only child's ride he was too small for was this spinning dragons thing (sorry, can't recall the name). Also, there are a handful of games he was able to play and walk away with prizes. We were happy with the experience.
Yes there is a kid area and by the leaning tower of pisa there a kid slide . Also the ride side has kiddie land
