We always have a good time at Lagoon. They have a good variety of rides. The lines were not too long. I like that they have lots of trees to help with the heat. The food is expensive, but the good thing is that they allow you to bring food from outside. Overall it was a good time.

Great place for kids and adults. Lots of different rides to explore, lines weren't very long for most rides. You can also bring your own ice chests and alcohol into the park

Best experience I've ever had at an amusement park and I lived 1 mile from Six Flags Over Texas for 20 years. The children's portion of the park is unbelievably wonderful!! My only negative is the wild animals and their habitats, its just sad...I don't see the value in that attraction and wish it was reevaluated. Other than that, beyond fantastic 👏🏼!

Very very fun! Love the rides, the lines weren't too long. They moved at a very efficient pace. Food was pretty good, a little pricey but that's common everywhere nowadays. All in all, had q really fun day here

The park is usually open during inclement weather. Some rides may close temporarily if there are safety concerns i.e. high winds, lightning, etc. Yesterday it was raining steadily while I was there and all the rides stayed open. Lagoon's official policy is: "Lagoon does not offer rain checks, refunds or price adjustments for tickets purchased on an inclement weather day. Some rides will close due to weather conditions; particularly rain, high winds, and/or lightning. Specifically which rides will close or remain open depends on the varying degrees of inclement weather and its effect on each ride. Those rides affected the most are the roller coasters and high rides. We make every effort to reopen the rides as quickly as possible after adverse weather conditions cease, safety being the first priority."
It's open and it's a wet, bumpy ride! It's always the first place I go when the park opens. You just run straight there, and there's no wait at all. You just hop on the first raft, and off you go! It's also quieter that way, too.
Yes it is the close of the regular season. They are open on weekends through Sept. and do Frightmares on Fri, Sat, & Sun.
OPEN MAY 6 THROUGH OCTOBER 30, 2017. *LAGOON A BEACH IS OPEN MAY 28 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 10, 2017. **FRIGHTMARES IS SCHEDULED SEPTEMBER 16 THROUGH OCTOBER 30, 2017.
"Guests under 36" in height must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Parents are encouraged to ride with their children."
