Yes they have their summer display out now so it is different and festive for the season
Yes, the Phipps is great year round! The only time you might want to steer clear is when they are installing a new show. It's still nice then, but just not the full experience. I was worried it would be too hot in summer because it's a green house, but they do a great job regulating the temperature in a green friendly way.
Any time is a great time to visit. Exhibits are going on throughout the year and they are open 7 days a week excluding only a couple of holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. When exhibits are transitioning (a week or two between installations) it is still a good time to visit it means you get to see parts of the previous one and sneak peeks of the next one. The winter show from late Nov to early Jan is the busiest so best to visit during the week to avoid the most crowds and best to order those tickets online in advance. Orher show examples include the Orchid show from mid Jan to early Mar, the Spring show from late Mar to late Apr, butterflies come late April until around Lanor Day, then there is the summer show then fall show. The winter show has extended hours every night and at night the outdoor garden is open and lit up with lighted decorations with an outdoor hut set up for snacks and drinks.
Yes. It is constantly changing by season. Right now the butterfly room should be up and running.... the orchid show in February is outstanding. I can go once a month and be amazed at the changes the place undertakes. Each season brings a new and breathtaking display
Yes the current Butterfly exhibition is absolutely amazing!
Phipps is great to visit year round. Plus, Phipps has changing seasonal themes. If you go in the spring, it will be different than the summer or fall or winter.
