Drive-Up mail boxes have been so very convenient for so many folks, and for so many years. Who was the Genius who decided that this was the perfect place to park a Dumpster and thus block that so-convenient access for everybody?

Hi John, it is there temporarily while construction is done on 3 interior spaces. Unfortunately, there was not another location that would work for it given the distance to remove the old materials. They are not currently blocked for walk up use and will be available for you to drive up to when the construction work is complete. In the meantime, the post office does also have drive up mail boxes.

I don't know. Could be a business. North Bend and Coos Bay post office have drive ups available
