You definitely don't just show up to any sanctuary. They hold few work party events so I would follow them on Facebook until they post about any future events for the public. Sanctuary work is full-time hard emotional and physical labor so they usually have little time to answer phone calls.
I have been here several times for their events which are wonderful. As an organization their mission is geared towards providing service to rescued animals more than visitors, so I'm not surprised that they don't have set office hours. I recommend leaving a message, or perhaps emailing them.
I don't know this place I've never been to this place I didn't plan on going to this place but maybe I will now and if I were you I would stay away from Tony Cousins he's a stalker he's been stalking me for 3 year he left a message on my phone that said, "I have a gun and I'm going to shoot you in the head!" that's a dangerous man. He still owed my email and he's the one who did that contributes that I have not done. This person is obsessive and sick. If anyone should ever see him walking down the street that I am, or anywhere around me then grab him for a police officer. Please help make sure he doesn't harm me. My suggestion is hold him at gunpoint.
