Will new people, or roller skating, be accepted? I've never ramp skated before but it's the only one I can get to without paying for transportation (college student)

Go early in the morning to avoid a crowd, especially since riding ramps and transition is new to you. Also make sure to show skatepark etiquette, and you'll be okay roller skating down there.

I don't honestly think it would be a great idea to bring roller skates down there as this is a skate park for skateboarders built by skateboarders. That being said, they welcome all kinds of people and is a very cool place to be but the reason why they don't like other modes of transportation as it can create safety issues. There are plenty of other transition parks in Oregon but this one is truly special and really is for just the skateboarders. You're welcome to bring your skateboard and come down and try as they'll allow anyone on a skateboard to come ride, any level, just be mindful of where you're dropping in and when you're dropping in and watching out for other Riders and the lines they are taking.

Yes, just try and stay out of the way of others. There are people down there that take skating very seriously.
