I used to come here to watch my friends skate, like 25 years ago. I don't recall the homeless problem being so bad back then in downtown Portland, but it's definitely pretty scary now. Does the skate park seem pretty safe, as far as that goes?

I've never had a problem with anyone , and have met people from around the world who show up to say they were there . You should be Safe ✌

Yes, it is really no different than it was 25 years ago as far as crowd goes. If you do park your car a few streets over, there are probably a few more meth heads and scary people, but if you're talking about just the vicinity of the skatepark itself, all is good. Very safe and as always, great skaters ♡
