Have never bought bad meat at Food City.
I never liked Food City's Meat
I normally buy my meat in the reduced section. Sniff it before you buy it. If it's bad then just return it for a refund.
I bought a reduced lemon pepper chicken breast package a few months back for a special occasion and it smelled like fish...it was that bad. That being said still like food city. And no its not probably the farmers fault, lol, they pack the meat in store. What did the farmer do, give the live chicken salmonella and get it to hot in the hen house, then kill it and thats what made it bad. Unless the meat packer has no sense of smell.....
Was it reduced? Reduced meat at food city or otherwise is something to be very scrutinizing with.
Be careful were u buy meat. Where ever
Don't buy it if it looks bad and if it has any freezer burn on it i would not risk fixing it
