Phillips drive inn is a family ran business that has served the same crust the whole time it had been open. It is considered a specialty pizza not a novelty pizza it is a brand so to speek.
Maybe cause they're known for their wonderful pizza. I love pan also. But I'd take a Phillips combination pizza over any. They've been around so long and as far as I known nothing has changed since the first. Everything there is amazing. I'm guessing they've been THE PLACE in Scott for way before I moved her. When we visited family we didnt miss Phillips. Phillips was THE PLACE for my parents even. I was told they were in a different location back then. But Phillips Drive In isn't just the food to me. They carry a lot of memories with going there. Great memories, wonderful food and I've always heard it's still run by a great family.
Cause pan cost more to make and thin crust is the best!
