If you're looking for a dog park with a pool, highly recommend Newtown Dream Dog Park in Johns Creek.
At the dog park itself they can't, but at the end of Roger's Bridge Rd there's a boat landing on the Chattahoochee river where they can swim.
There are two fenced areas in the park, one for large and one for small dogs. Sprayed water areas, but no pools. No leashes required within the fenced areas, but required elsewhere in the park area. Chattahoochee river canoe and swim area a few hundred yards nearby.
Yes, I say to take the dog to a dog park. I feel certain that all dogs must remain on leashes in a National or state or county or city park. I believe this park is National. ??? But Newtown is awesome.
