Nice place to take a walk and take pictures. Beautiful scenery with rustic buildings and artifacts, but it can be kinda creepy. The restrooms are generally clean, and park visitors are typically polite and courteous.

Somethig is romantic and cozy about this park. Even with not much color changing tress or lake or playground. It is still very charming

Adorable in fall. A special charm is that the landscape has elevation changes. Great for walking and hiking. And it is very similar to the forest in my native Ukraine)
I know you can rent the pavilions here but what if I'm throwing a toddler's birthday party and only wanted to useva couple of tables? Do I still have to rent the entire pavilion for a couple of table areas?

If you wanted to guarantee space, then yes. If they are not reserved they are first-come, first-serve, so you could try that.

Main path past barn 200 yards around field. Turn left. Steep hill goes down to creek. Path is asphalt with steel bridge over creek. No pictures at this time. Good luck.
There are a lot of dog walkers, hikers, and bike riders there.
Literally the second left turn from main path. First leads to picnic area which is still closed due to covid.
Which pavilion is the one by the playground? Options online were Farm Pavilion, House/Barn, Pavilion #2. Looking to book for a birthday party. TIA!
