You can pay an extra $5 to purchase the medallion and it acts as "protection". You will not be messed with. It's great for kids.
the monsters can't target you. if I child has one, the monster has to look scared of them, and do what the kid says (if possible)
The free roaming monsters will not scare you as long as you have on the Medallion
