My dog behaves better than some kids you encounter while eating out.
Did not see any pets inside but maybe ok if you are seated outside?
They do have some outside seating (required for doggie dining in Venice), but I don't remember seeing dogs there. Several other restaurants within easy walking distance do have doggie dining.
You may be ok if you sit outside, don't listen to the dog hater
