The place is clean. You can watch them cook the food in a clean kitchen. The booths have been newly reupholstered and look great. Great food as usual
This place is a local gem I’ve been going here since I was a kid (20 years). The place looks great with their new renovations, and the staff understands longboat and it’s history, besides having great food at affordable prices (French toast is a personal favorite). It’s my opinion that “icky” (wth kind of name is that, possibly fake) has lost all credibility as a local guide with their review. Go to fist watch if you want a cookie cutter experience in town, and pay $60 for a two person breakfast. Or go eat on a canal at a place that’s been a part of longboat and the village forever, the longbeach cafè.
One of the dirtiest places I have ever seen.
