I have a reservation soon. I keep reading horrible reviews, and then ill find a really good review. I'm not looking for fancy. Just a place to sleep , really. For the locals or anyone who's stayed. Is it really that bad?

Are their umbrella rentals on the beach at gulf towers? If not wheres the cheapest place to buy one ?

I enjoyed my stay. Room was clean, bed was comfy and I had beach access as well as a pool.. only problem I had was the shower head was weird it was almost like a water hose attachment and was a little rough on my sunburn but not a deal breaker. Would stay there again.
