I am not sure but its probably because it's a small store with not much staff and they require all employees do all of the jobs at the store. It's not like at Publix where you can get a job stocking or loading without customer interaction you will have to be able to run the cash register, unfortunately, most people here in the US only speak English so it would be hard to interact with customers.
