If you park at the Rainbow Lake trailhead parking lot it's just over 4 miles round trip to Edwards point. You will hike down to Rainbow Lake (.6 miles) and cross the swinging bridge to hit the Cumberland trail in thus Edwards point.
My husband usually parks at Signal Mountain Middle High school and takes the yellow trail from Sam Powell Dr. to Edward's Point. Hope this helped!
