When you rent a pontoon is it private or for as many sign up and fit? Thanks!

I don't know, friends invited my husband and I to go out on a pontoon rental with them tmrw (technically today) and when we asked how much they said $50 would cover both of us. I have severe social anxiety and we kept asking them if others would be on boat & they avoided question until finally we reminded them that I just can't be trapped in a crowd of strangers, then they said it'd just be us. I can't believe we can get a private pontoon for $100 and if we drive out there and I find out there's going to be others on boat- I'm going to have major panic attack, ruin everyone's day and need a ride home!
