Anytime is good, just be aware of outdoor temps. There are shady spots but it can get HOT.

Spring offers the greatest diversity of flowers (late March, April and May into early June) but something is in flower all year.
True, you'll never be disappointed as its magnificent. But, if I had to pick, I would go in spring, early April.
There is always something in bloom. Right now, the roses are at their peak.
My comment is it was the most beautiful place I have seen in a long time and whatever flower is in season for the summer it will be well worth going to see
