Broken rice is just smaller rice then normal..so it half it size then normal rice
Broken rice is the discarded rice during sorting and packaging. The grains are damaged or 'broken' hence the name. It's sold cheaper and usually found in street markets. No difference in taste for me. You can kinda tell a texture difference in some dishes, but not usually
