How hard packed is the sand. I have a Sprinter van. Dually but weight in at about 8600 lbs. I can't afford to get stuck.

I would walk the beach. It is mostly packed but there are soft spots. I took my F250 4x4 and had no problem.

You can go fine.

Also depending on the time of year you go

Certain spots you can go on and others you would sink. Best to walk the beach to see for yourself. Hope this help.

It's packed well on the beach, but not all that much at the entrance.
