A little hidden beach that was excellent. Very few people were there. It felt like an untouched beach that was polluted by tons of people. If you like looking for shells and sea glass, it is the place for you. From Galveston, you have to take the free ferry and then drive about 30 minutes but it is well worth it. We saw so many pelicans.

Not a particularly pretty and definitely not clean beach, but for shell hunting we found the motherload!! Everywhere!! We also only saw a handful of people during the day and we did camp overnight and saw NO ONE! That was nice. It was quiet and peaceful.

We always enjoy ourselves here! When you see the beach coming from Winnie (High Island) go past the first house you see which is light sea foam green and we were at the entrance before the 2nd house you see! It’s easy to pull in and the sand is packed so no worries getting stuck! The Johnny on the spot are there too! Stop at the store before you get to the beach across from the fruit stand after the bridge and get you a beach pass sticker so you can park on the beach! It last an entire year!

What a diamond in the rough! Was searching for a nighttime sky that had S/SW sky unobstructed by light pollution and this place delivered! Great huge wooden Cross high above the ground provided a great anchor for the foreground of a few incredible Milky Way images and sunrise captures. Had the place to myself until the fishermen showed up just before sunrise.

There is a lot of places you can set up the beach is Accessible and you are able to drive on the beach.
I would walk the beach. It is mostly packed but there are soft spots. I took my F250 4x4 and had no problem.
