Average U.S. home uses 30 kWh of electricity/ day. Tesla's Powerwall 2.0 is 13.5 kWh. 900 kWh/month divide by 13.5... 66+ batteries. Comfortably? Depends on you definition of comfortable -- lighting, comms and a mini-split (heating & AC) in 1 room is more doable.
Thank you, Mike, for reaching out! To answer your question correctly, we need several details. That's b/c each individual/family uses energy differently. One can observe 2 homes that are setup exactly the same with the same square footage, & the energy usage in each home will be very different. For example, one family may prefer their summer temperatures much cooler than the other. One family may hardly be home each day/evening. The other family may work from home, and they might be present the majority of the time. All of these factors (and several more) have an impact. This is why our people ask for your utility bills (preferably) for a year's time to learn the exact kilowatt usage. In addition, the batteries available out there have a wide array of storage capacities. Knowing the brand and model of battery in which you are interested is also critical info. We welcome you to reach out to our team and schedule an educational session. It would be our pleasure to serve you.
