The SeaLife Center may be a little pricey, but it is to support the work they do to rescue and rehabilitate sea mammals and other marine life. It is the only permanent marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation facility in Alaska. When we were there last year, we got to see a baby walrus that they had rescued and were taking care of until they could find it a new home at a zoo since it could not be released back into the sea. The center is primarily a research and education facility so if you are interested in learning about the sea life in Alaska you will really enjoy it as you will learn a lot.
Sure is. It will take you and pick you up...think it runs hourly. It's a great place to stay, but I cant say as much for the Sea Life Center. Sorry it is kind of expensive and I've seen so many better ones in the lower 48. Your money will be better spent elsewhere. Just got back in June from going everywhere in Alaska. Just ask me!
