How often do you call a cease fire to place your target? I just wasted 45 min at a range in Garland and didn't even get place a target. They never called a cease fire until I had everything loaded in back in the truck and was driving off.

There is no cease fire called on pistol to do target maintenance. We have a pulley system that sends targets out and brings them back by the pull of a chain. On rifle range, it's generally, about every 15 minutes, depending on how many shooters their are on the range. If you are the only shooter on the range, you tell the range officer when you want to go downrange and he/she will do cease fire when you're ready.

You can actually ask for a cease-fire, generally they do one every 15 minutes or sooner. Great staff very knowledgeable.
