I'm new to all this ... I want to start going to connections tomorrow , but don't have transportation ... I heard they have a van that will come pick you up ... How do you get started there & how do you go about getting the van to pick you up ?

You have to go thru Logisticare, you would have to start the program, do you have Medicaid? I ride w connections.

You should call them first thing in the morning. They open at 6 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, 5 a.m. Monday through Friday. They're very knowledgeable and helpful.

Someone just told me that I shouldn't go in the morning ... That it would be better to wait until night because if I go in the morning i would have to wait ALL day to get dosed ... Is that true ? ... Like I said , I dont know ANYTHING about this AT ALL ... Ive just had a BUNCH of people telling me I should go there & get help & this is kinda just a split second decision to go.

Julie , how do you go about doing all that ? If you dont mind me asking . I literally know nothing about any of this lol . All I know is that I'm tired of living the way ive been living & I want to be clean asap & I heard that this was the best way to do so. No , unfortunately I don't have any insurance , or an ID for that matter ... I'm currently homeless ... Are those things required ? Will they turn me down if I don't have them ? I've been trying for the last week to get my ID & DMV has been giving me the run around .
