Why can people that are hired by the fair, such as the bartenders, lemonade stands, and Vivs Cafes accept tips, and not any of the vendors? If you’re not in an RCS Shirt, no tips.

The reason for that is because the bartenders and servers there most likely only make $2.13 an hour because they were hired as service employees whereas the fair and carnival workers make a hourly wage

Yeah I’d really like to see the Owners response, every other question has been answered, it just seems kinda backwards that the vendors are scolded for tips but the bars have pretzel jars for them

Interesting observation. Taxes and reporting taxes are probably the issues.
