You need to go to State of Arizona DES office NOT Social Social Security. If you are applying for STATE aid you do not go to SSA. If your son is in SSI then go to SSA.
No appointment needed. I moved to AZ from CA about early Aug, didn't require an appointment, and have taken care of my disability benefits just showing up
