The Menil is always free as is the Rothko Chapel
It is always free, but there are occasional highly exclusive, beyond the pale, special events just for members. Which technically cost something, because membership is available at different contribution levels, and with the higher tier memberships, (higher tiers require a rate of giving that increases substantially via logarithmic increments; of course, giving to an exceptionally amazing cause has all sorts of intangible rewards). The degree of access and scholarly privilege also seem to increase logarithmically by tier. {"Decamara" has a fee for the ticket for each performance also,} **EDIT: I was wrong, Decamara** events are always free, but the primary venue's unrivaled intimacy provides for a limited number of highly prized seats that can fill up quite quickly. Now that we're in Pandemic life, I do believe they have shifted to outdoor performances on the main building's lawn... which makes this edit nearly obsolete.
