I have used Forest Park cemetery for both of my parents….my father recently passed and I was greeted by Joshua as my funeral planner and director. I can’t say enough of how this young man helped me through the hardest time of my life!!!! He was very professional, compassionate, and patient as a saint during my family’s mourning. Joshua was very helpful and attentive to my family members need’s during the funeral. He went above and beyond what I have ever seen someone do for a family during this difficult time. It was very hot outside and Joshua made sure everyone had access to a cooler that he personally brought filled with cold bottled water for us to drink during the service. It’s the little things like this that made it special for me. No one has ever done this before, and I honestly appreciated it!!! Joshua also checked on my family a week after we buried my father, just to see how we were doing… he actually came to our house and I know it was over a 30 mile drive, just to make sure we were all okay. I truly appreciate everything that he did for me, he took away the unnecessary stress and worry that usually happens during the loss of a loved one. I was able to go through my grieving process without being overwhelmed by other little distractions… thank you so much Joshua, you were 100% blessing to me that day, thank you!!! Now I can relax and know deep down inside that both my Mother and Father are at rest in a beautiful place like Forest Park East Cemetery…

Our experience with Forest Park East Funeral Home was not a good one. It was characterized by poor information flow and extremely high overhead cost of the service. When I asked one of the funeral consultants why the overhead cost was $6,500, I was told, "Well it provides for electricity and refrigeration. I also submit the death certificate information." Really??!

Take 45 South from anywhere in the city, out towards NASA road one take the exit before and go in the 1st entrance cause the main entrance is a closed with construction
Exit off I-45 South at Bay Area Blvd. and continue south on the Feeder Road through the intersection(s) at Bay Area Boulevard AND NASA Rd. 1, which is approximately 1/8 mile past the Nasa Rd. 1 intersection (so make sure you are in the right lane at the intersection or you will miss it!). Extensive highway construction is currently underway on the properties on the west side of the Feeder Road, starting at the Cemetery's first gated entrance. The second (Main Gate) entrance is closed off completely as of 2 weeks ago, when my mother and I last went there. At the main entrance gate to the cemetery, traffic on the feeder road is narrowed down to just one lane. Note: If you wait to exit I-45 South at Nasa Rd. 1 insread of Bay Area Blvd., you will risk missing the Cemetery's entrance gate(s) because the exit from the freeway dumps you right where you need to make an immediate right turn onto the cemetery grounds (and the feeder road usually has heavy traffic).

Go to the office at Forest Park and they can look it up for you.
Because if you have a death they will assist in having body picked up and contact ,county authorities.. Especially for clients who have pre-arranged funerals.
Advertise it in the obituary section of the local paper.
